Florida Grapefruit April 2023 Competition

Terms & Conditions

1. No purchase necessary to enter the prize draw. To join, entrants must like the competition post, and follow @floridagrapefruituk in the platform they view the post in (Facebook or Instagram), and tag an account in a comment on the post.

2. Entrants must be aged 18 or over and a UK resident.

3. Only one entry per person allowed across both pages (one per Facebook and Instagram). Multiple entries will be discarded.

4. The winner will be drawn at random from the entries received. The result will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

5. Two winners will be chosen from the @floridagrapefruituk Instagram account and one winner from the Florida Grapefruit UK Facebook account. Each winner will win a Valiant Portable Picnic and Camping BBQ, JBL Flip 6 Bluetooth Speaker, Poolcandy Inflatable Party Sunning Pool, GilRu Round Beach Blanket, VonHaus Hammock with Metal Frame and a branded tote bag.

6. Should the promoter be unable to contact the winner, or does not receive a response within 48 hours, the promoter reserves the right to award the prize to an alternative winner, selected in accordance with these terms and conditions.

7. All prizes are non-transferable and are not redeemable towards any other offers. There is no cash alternative for the prize. Prizes are subject to availability and the promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value or more without giving notice.

8. Those involved in the promotion and execution of this prize draw, as well as employees of the company and their relatives, are not eligible for entry.

9. Please allow up to 40 days for the delivery of the prize.

10 Each winner is responsible for any tax implication arising from winning a prize.

11. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this competition or accepting or using any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).

12. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter, their related entities and their officers, employees and agents, exclude all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorized access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoters) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoters; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; (f) redemption of the prizes; and/or (g) participation in the Promotion.

13. Competition opens from 12:00pm (BST) on 19 April 2023 and closes midnight (BST) on 27 April 2023. Entries must be received during this period to be valid.

14. The promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook or Instagram. By taking part in this promotion, all participants consent to the Promoters using their personal data submitted with their entry for the purposes of this promotion. Data will be processed in accordance with the Promoters’ privacy policies.
